I've applied a small temporary Band-Aid.
To make the most of the discount for larger contributions, and to relieve those who have been extraordinarily generous in the past, may I please make a suggestion for those who are able to and want to join in? Can you please Paypal a few dollars (and no more than that!) to this address: [email protected]
When we have aggregated a bigger contribution, I can send it all in at once, and then we should be able to get some discount (ie extra time) for the larger contribution.
Deadline: midnight Hawaii time on 31 July 2010?

I'll PayPal something in.  The July 31 deadline sounds good.

It's $6 per month. By the time you get to 6 months, there's a 17% discount (ie $30 for 6 months). The top level of discount is said to be 33%, but I'm not sure where the break point is for that. Cash amounts are calculated into time anyway, so we don't have to hit a particular money amount.
I was thinking that if our 20 or so regulars each threw in a couple of dollars or thereabouts, we'd easily get another year without relying on any one person to do what some have generously done in the past.

Ok will stick in some money, thanks for the amounts.
Impulse717, you have sent $ USD to Globaliser.
I forgot to add a description.
I pay that much to Flyertalk and I pay twice that amount to Australian Frequent Flyer every year.
Nice that the exchange rate is 0.873.

Many thanks for all the further contributions!

Impulse: I hope you don't mind my making a small edit to your post. Everyone's generosity is very much appreciated, and I don't want anyone to feel that they should get into a "bidding war".
