Hi Folks,
I'm finally starting to think about the shindig and getting to meet all you nice folks on July 26th. I'd love to have a quick yea or nay from potential attendees, just so I can plan.
I know y'all are going to be munching the stinking rose in Gilroy all day, so I figured I'll provide lighter fare and fruity drinks. We've actually just moved within our building to a much larger, 5th floor apartment, with wonderful north and east views, so that's an improvement over what I'd previously expected to offer.
When you reply, if you have special food requests, please let me know. (I'll do some vegan empanadas and such for the vegetarians/vegans.)
Looking forward to the end of July!

Me! Me! Me!
I'm partial to Beluga caviar with truffles and good vintage Dom Perignon.

I'll be there and I second BOAG's food suggestions with the addition of a bit of Basil Hayden bourbon for my Manhattan (blue cheese stuffed olives optional) Image

If we get Andre I may have to relate the tale of Christmas brunch which stretched all the way to Christmas dinner Image with the aid of a case of Andre's best.

Can't wait, Kenny. Thanks for having us. And don't worry. Most of us are housebroken.

Unfortunately, I'm a nay for this one. It's one of those time/money equations where there is not enough of either. I'll cook up something with garlic that weekend as a salute to the gang at Gilroy.

BOAG has the right idea re menu. If that doesn't fit your plans, just throw a bucket of KFC on the table . . . .

Foundryman and castelyn are planning to be there!
I have heard that parsley is an antidote to garlic fumes. Could it be true?

Kenny-
pencil Ron and me in for then. Still haven't made plane reservatins since moving dates (to KS) are tentative. If we move early in July as planned, we should be able to make it.
