I've got no idea what proportion of people get newspapers delivered in London, but I'd bet that it's a smaller percentage than elsewhere in the country. My ex-neighbour used to get the FT delivered every day, but I didn't think that it was necessarily a good idea as the newspaper tended to arrive sometime around midnight or 1 am, and I'm sure that you can get a later edition if you buy one in town in the morning.
