I've become pretty much resigned to foraging for my own food in airports, but it can be a challenge if you have a very tight connection or a flight that's so early that not much is open (or it's 6:30 AM and you're trying to find lunch-type stuff). I'm further challenged by wanting things that aren't high-fat, processed, buttered, slathered with mayonnaise, etc. I also like lots of fresh vegetables. This cuts out a lot of options. And try eating an offering from Burrito Beach in flight, while juggling a laptop.

I have very few favorites among airport food courts. The only thing that stands out is the plain yogurt that comes with a separate section with honey in the Greek stand (Pegasus, naturally) in MDW. You mix them together and it's heavenly. The yogurt is so rich that I suspect it violates the "high-fat" rule, but you can't win 'em all. Oh, yeah- ditto for Gold Star Chili at CVG!
