Yeah, it's been nippy here in my neck of the woods. 70 degree weather this time of year is not uncommon, but the past few days have been lower than that. Last night around midnight I noticed the temp was about 40 degrees, which is low for here.
For some reason, 40 degrees here sure feels colder than the 40 degree weather I've experienced elsewhere. I grew up in parts of the country where it regularly goes below zero, so I'm no stranger to cold weather, but in Albuquerque, when it's 50 degrees I can go outside in a t-shirt and be OK. Here in SoCal, I'm reaching for the winter jacket at that temp.
